Jill is an Alderwoman in Illinois and is very active politically working toward legislative change and Judicial education as it relates to a change in divorce culture. She was appointed and is currently serving on the Illinois Family Law Study Committee at the invitation of Illinois Speaker of the House Michael Madigan. The goal of the committee is to reassess Illinois divorce law and present current revisions. Judge Michele Lowrance has been a Domestic Relations Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County since 1995 and spent 20 years as a domestic relations lawyer. She is the co-host with Jill Egizii of the radio show Family Matters. She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post (now AOL Online), and Visitation Guidelines for Cook County.
